Dear Participants
We will convey some information regarding the
regulations for foreigners who wish to enter
Indonesia, particularly to attend ICEBT 2023
Bali and visit some touristic places in Bali.
Visa Regulations
To entering Indonesia you still need a Visa
except you are Brunei Darussalam, Philippines,
Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore,
Thailand or Vietnam citizen.
Furthermore, if your country is in the following
list below you can apply for a Visa on Arrival
(VOA). The VOA can be obtained at the airport in
Indonesia. But we suggest you to apply an e-VOA,
which will take about 10-20 mins to make but
will save you 1-2 hours of queueing for the visa
on arrival at the airport. It costs IDR 500,000
(USD 32.5). You can apply for the e-visa through
this link: molina.imigrasi.go.id
For who can’t apply VOA, you can apply a
tourism visa through Indonesian embassy in your
country or you also can contact an travel agency
to support you. You can check the contact of the
travel agencies through this link
https://motce.id/listguarantorvisaina .
Covid Regulations
As for the Covid regulation, you need at least 2
vaccines + 1 booster. You also need to install
the PeduliLindungi app and input your COVID-19
vaccination data. Please be aware that it may
take around two weeks to verify your vaccine
certificates. In the case where the app could
not verify your vaccine certificates, you can
verify them at the airport in Indonesia. Many
people experience no problems without having
this app. Just bring the proofs of your three
vaccines along. The app will save you time,
should there be any checks. More information
about the app can be found at
